CPL staff learning that finding the right type of furniture and fabrics for the new library is hard work.

But it is not all hard work – sometimes staff, including Laura Renker shown here, get to try out the new furniture.

Library staff met with a shelving manufacture to ensure the new library is equipped with the most up-to-date and practical shelving.

Crete Public Library and city staff, architects, and construction representatives will also spend time during the construction process to determine appropriate furnishings, fixtures and equipment for each space in the new library, community room, and park space.
