Library to host author Mary Pipher Nov. 13

Crete Public Library is honored to host author Mary Pipher on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. in the Crete Carrier Community Room.
This event is open to the public and RSVPs are not required.
Mary has retired from speaking but is making an exception as she lived in Dorchester and has fond memories of the Crete area. She is known for her seminal work, "Reviving Ophelia: Saving the Selves of Adolescent Girls," published 25 years ago. Her most recent work is "A Life in the Light: Meditations on Impermanence," a memoir-in-essays.
