Two author visits at Crete Public Library in October
Crete Public Library will host two author visits next month, Jonis Agee on Oct. 5 and William Kent Krueger on Oct. 22.
Agee, author of "The Bones of Paradise," will speak on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 5:30 p.m. in the Crete Carrier Community Room. Appetizers will be provided from Venue Restaurant & Lounge. Krueger will be the guest speaker at a dinner and presentation on Saturday, Oct. 22 in the Community room. Krueger's novel, "This Tender Land," is the featured book of this year's Crete Reads! program.
Tickets are available by advance purchase only ($25) for a buffet dinner catered by Venue. Doors open for ticket holders at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6 and author presentation at 6:30. Limited seating will be available at no cost for guests attending the presentation only at 6:30.
