Water Department staff visiting properties to complete lead and copper surveys - Aug. 12

The City of Crete Utilities Office previously sent out Lead and Copper surveys for customers to complete and return to City Hall. Starting on Monday (Aug. 12), City Water Department staff will visit properties to complete surveys that were not received from specific properties. Staff will have city identification and may leave a notice for customers not present.

The City sent surveys in response to a mandatory inventory request from the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy to collect this information about water service line connections. Utility customers with questions may call the Utilities Office at City Hall, 402.826.4312.
